Anastasiya Prihodko was born in Kiev, Ukraine, on 21st of April 1987. Her mother is a theater critic, and is working in the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine. Nastya has learned to play not only piano, but also flute and guitar, in addition, she studied in choral conducting class. Then she has graduated from Glier Kyiv Collage, class of "folk vocal", and was giving concerts and club performances. She took part in several local festivals, including receiving 3rd prize at a festival in Bulgaria. However, the main success of the performer came with the victory at the Russia's Channel One show "Star Factory 7", and as the result of it, she has signed contract with producer Konstantin Meladze. Repertoire of the singer is made both own as well as folk and traditional songs in Russian and Ukrainian languages. Hobbies - horse riding, chess, Thai boxing, shooting. Song "Mamo" was born in the process of preparations for the Ukrainian national selection for Eurovision 2009. It's video-presentation was held in the show Shuster LIVE. "Russian preselection committee has agreed to my principal condition - to perform "Mamo" in the final of Russian preselection in mix of Ukrainian and Russian languages. "I do not have any show on the stage. First, I sing a song by Konstantin Meladze. Secondly, I differ not with show, but with a voice". Thirdly, I have not met the people who sing as I do, as I sing both with heart and soul", she declared at a recent press conference.
