Hadise Açıkgöz, (born October 22, 1985) known as Hadise, is a Turkish R&B singer, songwriter and now a T.V. presenter of Turkish descents.Hadise debuted in the music scene in 2003 when she entered the Flemish version of Pop Idol. She failed to win, but was given an album contract after her prformance impressing "Johan Hendrickx", the man behind "2Brain Records". In 2005 her debut album "Sweat" was released in Belgium and later Turkey. Even though the album failed to chart in Belgium, it spawned the hit singles: "Stir Me Up", "Milk Chocolate Girl" and "Bad Boy", which all charted on the Ultratop 50.Taking time off to write new songs for her next album Hadise. She returned to the music scene in 2007 with the single "A Good Kiss", for which since Hadise has recorded a Turkish version of the song due to be released soon. Hadise then released the single "My Body", which became her most successful song. Her album "Hadise".Since her career began Hadise has won the TMF award for "Best Urban Act" in 2006 and 2007.2008 Hadise appeared on Serdar Ortaç 2008 album Nefes on a track called "Düşman".It has been reported that Hadise has been in contact with Turkish broadcaster TRT to discuss the possibility of taking part in the Eurovision song contest in Russia, representing Turkey.
